Final Distance, by Utada Hikaru.

To really understand the meaning behind this song, it's important to know this.

This song was dedicated to 6-year old Rena Yamashita. She wrote an essay and won a contest for it. In the essay, she wrote about how she wanted to be a singer like her favorite idol, Utada Hikaru. Then on June 8, 2001, the Osaka school massacre happened and the little girl died. Hikaru was surprised and shocked on what happened but read the essay the little girl wrote. Hikaru dedicated the song to her and her family and all those who were killed.
