2) If you guys don't have that, you could just delete the necroposter's comment, block thread, and PC them about it. They don't usually go back to the same thread. If the thread is still viable/gathers new sufficient interest, then it's your call.
3) Maybe add "Commonly asked questions"(on system glitches) on the HELP menu. It would keep people from making new "problem/glitch" threads that they might not know has been happening here for about a year or more.
1) Maybe a Global Mod or an Admin can move threads around (bump them up and down), but I don't think a Mod can do that.
2) This must be, at least, the third time I have addressed this necroposting/bumping the thread issue. As I told Lith several months ago and SKK66 yesterday, this issue will be addressed in the near future. Thank you for your concern.
3)That's a good idea, however adding such a section to the FAQ/Help menu wouldn't do much to remedy that problem. Many of the members don't even know where to find the forum rules, let alone a nearly-hidden FAQ page.
3. I don't think the site needs that much redesigning though. Might highlight the Help button. We do need to take into account that some of the members here just barge in and not read rules or really do troll.
Creating a slideshow of summarized(bullet) rules and How-to's might be time consuming, but if you are going to direct them there automatically after registering, they will have no reason to not know, thus you could give them penalty even at first offense. Might be a good project for the Team Members.
