No problem, yo. P:
But I've gotta say, I needed improvement, and I think I've got it. *fistpump*

That's good! The main purpose of this festival was NOT to be a competition, "Who's the best", or anything like that. It was mainly for constructive criticism, positive feedback, and learning new techniques.

We're going to do another one of these festivals for sure, right?
06-25-2010, 01:26 PM
Yeah, definitely. Next time, we can make 'member tutorials' and how-tos. I bet everyone will love those.

Gosh, such good banners, and I'm not that good at critiquing, but I'll try my best!
Lith - There's something about your style that reminds me of Koi, but it's great nonetheless.
RaE - Like Koi, the Pharohman banner is my fav.
CB - F-ing glorious, two of the best banners I've ever seen. *shot*
X3
Koi - No idea what to say, I've always loved everything about your banners, and these two are no exceptions.
More "critique" form me later (or not)! X3

Lol! XD It's good to think positive like that!
Thanks for giving your feedback for everyone, including myself, Chibi. I really appreciate it! I was impressed with your submissions, especially the second.
Remember guys. You are more than welcome to check out the .PSDs and ask members questions about their banners (ex. how do you make the text like that?).
First questions. Chibi_Buizel, you use a clipping's mask to make that 'paint brush stroke' for the background, right? I know you can do it with that, but you may have another approach to it, lol.
DefyEvil, how did the original C4D look like? I have to admit, I suck at matching good C4Ds with my background, but you seem to have a nice range of them. Neat.
Another bump for those who haven't seen the banners.

YES!
We should make How-to~ C :
Maybe we can get competitive and put liek, who's tutorial is the best? 8 D
Of course, there's no WulfSnakes allowed.

Put that in a spoiler please >: C
Do you ever re-color the C4Ds?
Like, let's say you're working on a Dororo signature but you find a C4D that matches nicely with it. The only problem is, it's red, and of course, red never goes with blue.
Would you recolor the C4D or just use a blue one?
