Keroro Suit~ East VS. West!!
Fall is barely here, but I can’t help noticing some stores already have Halloween products on display. Naturally I thought it is appropriate to make a post about a Keroro costume. Some of you might have seen it since it came out on March of 2006 produced by Bandai. The head/hat part alone cost about $53 US, the whole suit with head will cost about about $91 US. Although it’s quite costly, it is by far the best Keroro costume I have seen, besides the custom ones from “cosplay”s. Speaking of cosplay, I came across this image of a “cosplayer” [ Read More ]

from Kero to Hero
Without much notice, the phenomenon of Keroro Gunson (Sgt. Frog) has already seeped into the US of A. In the highly successful NBC serie “Heroes“, there is actually a short scene where Keroro had made a brief appearance. When the character Hiro Nakamura (play by Masi Ohka) first appears in his office, you can clearly see that there is a Keroro figure right in front of his monitor, next to a Godzilla figure. Besides putting a bunch of Asians on a floor packed with cubicals, flashing Keroro and Godzilla in a frame just proves to be the thing that solidifies [ Read More ]
3:23AM here… Pekopon-jin and I have been working all night on the site. We’ve added more episodes with English sub, all the way to episode 104. We also added the full movie available for immediate viewing. We’re currently looking for episode 105 and above with English subs, if you know where they can be found, please let us know so we can post it for everyone to watch. I think we’re starting to get a little delirious from staying up so late. @_@
Its official!! The 2nd Keroro Movie “Princess of the Deep Sea” will be released in September 28th, 2007 in Japan. Which means some of us will get it by the end of this month (hehehe…). No need to worry though, we will hook you guys up ASAP. Meanwhile, indulge yourselves in a 9-minutes-clip of the 2nd movie. Its the scene of “Meru’s Song” – a lullaby if you will, in the original Japanese voices. Meru is the “enemy” in this movie, at the left in the image above. Sorry, no English subtitle though. =(

US release date pushed back!
ADV Films, the #1 distributor of Anime in North America initially stated that they have licensed Keroro Gunso for the US as Sgt. Frog. The anime dub (I prefer sub) was supposed to be released in February of this year but now it’s delayed till who knows when because they haven’t finished negotiations with the TV networks! It’s times like this when I’m thankful for the internet, you can just watch up to episode 50 here and not have to wait for the men in suits to finish their negotiations. Which reminds me, I will add more episodes soon.

Kururu Curry~ Mmm~
I was just browsing the internet and stumbled upon this image. I looked into it and found out that these are actually promotional items that they gave out for free when you buy tickets to see the 2nd Keroro Movie in Japan back in March (in Akihabara). It is only natural that they pick Kururu as the cover-frog for the instant curry mix since his color matches perfect, but there is actually more to it then that. The red patch in the lower left corner of the box states that it is sweet curry, the kind that is not that [ Read More ]
